The shelving on mobile bases Etermet allows you to increase storage capacity by maximizing the available space. Thanks to a system of mobile bases that slide on floor-mounted tracks, it is possible to eliminate the need for multiple fixed aisles and open only the one needed for picking and deposit operations.
The movement system can be manual (via flyer) or electric, con motori integrati e sistemi di comando gestibili da pannello di controllo.
The Etermet mobile bases integrate perfectly with the shelving of the line Trenta5, dedicated to the light loads, and with the line 6Strong, designed for applications at medium-heavy load. Each system is custom-built based on available space, required flow rates, and the company's operational flows, offering a personalized and reliable solution.

Ogni impianto nasce da un progetto dedicato. I tecnici Etermet analizzano gli spazi disponibili, i flussi di movimentazione e le unità di carico per sviluppare un layout personalizzato mediante software CAD 2D e 3D, ottimizzando capacità di stoccaggio, ergonomia e sicurezza.
Types of compactable systems
Manual System
The operator activates the movement by turning the handwheel, located on the front panel of the shelf, in the desired opening direction. This is an economical, robust, and energy-efficient solution.
Electrical System
The corridor is opened using a control panel located on the front of each mobile base. Integration with WMS systems is possible.

Le scaffalature mobili compattabili si muovono su binari fissati a pavimento. In condizioni di riposo le corsie sono chiuse, concentrando l’intera capacità di stoccaggio in uno spazio minimo.
L’operatore apre la corsia necessaria ruotando il volantino (sistema manuale) oppure premendo un pulsante (sistema elettrico).
Una scaffalatura compattabile è un sistema di stoccaggio in cui le scaffalature metalliche scorrono su binari a pavimento. Le corsie si aprono solo dove serve, eliminando i corridoi fissi e aumentando la densità di stoccaggio.
Nel sistema manuale l’operatore aziona il movimento tramite volantino. Nel sistema elettrico i basamenti sono motorizzati e controllabili da pannello o app.
There are three types of rails:
- Overlapping with platform and slide
- Overlapping with double slide
- Recessed into the floor
In all cases the rails are perfectly level with the floor surface.
Mobile shelving solutions can be customized based on available space, load units and capacities used, handling and sliding systems, finish (internal painting process), and the wide range of accessories available (doors, linings, drawers, etc.). Per archivi e biblioteche si privilegia il sistema Trenta5 (carichi leggeri), con accessori specifici per la gestione di faldoni, scatole e volumi. Il sistema manuale è generalmente sufficiente per questa tipologia di utilizzo.
È possibile convertire gli impianti Etermet esistenti in scaffalature compattabili inserendo le guide di scorrimento a pavimento. Le basi mobili vengono progettate in funzione delle geometrie dei locali e delle dimensioni delle scaffalature.
