6STRONG SHELVING FOR ORDER-ASSISTED PICK-UP
Nencini Sports, a leading company in the sale of sports goods and equipment, needed to expand the area dedicated to the storage of boxed and hanging goods, while maintaining a high level of efficiency in picking operations and making the most of the available vertical space.
Hethermet responded to these needs by designing and building a 10-meter-high beam and shelf shelving system, compliant with current regulations on seismic resistance. This is made possible thanks to the high performance guaranteed by the special closed-section profile of the shelving system 6Strong and a custom sizing of the system, studied for correct design and installation in seismic zones. Furthermore, the shoe profile of the beams, designed for the insertion of the recessed shelves, allows for perfect integration with the procedures of the user company, making the Safer picking.

The advantages obtained:
- Optimizing available space: The 6Strong racking for order pickers made it possible to exploit the entire useful height of the warehouse and optimise horizontal space thanks to reduced aisles.
- Optimization of storage capacity: The expansion has allowed Nencini Sport to increase the space dedicated to product storage, significantly reducing the risk of stockouts and allowing for more agile and efficient management during peak demand.
- Adaptability: Thanks to the combined use of beams with shelves and hanging bars, it was possible to configure the load levels for different storage needs.
- Safety: The anti-seismic design of the shelving guarantees the safety of operators and goods in the event of an earthquake.
